Juan Carlos Cardenal graduated in architecture in 1956 and less than needed less than one year for his PHD. As head architect of “Arata Isozaqui & Assoc Espana S.A” he lead the project to construct “Palau Sant Jordi”. He was assistant professor of projects during many years and was also Dean of the Barcelona College of Architects. Vice – president of the “Consejo Superior de Arquitectos de Espana” from 1978 to 1980. Winner of the first prize in the national competition for “Enher” central offices in “Paseo de Gracia” and for F.P schools convened by the Ministry of Education & Science. He has collaborated in many other competitions such as Hamburg. During his career he has been mentioned many times and has been published in Catalan, Spanish and foreign media.
