José Antonio Coderch in 1940 he obtained his title from the “Escuela Superior de Arquitectura” in Barcelona and established offices with Manuel Valls. He is considered a real protagonist of the renaissance of Spanish architecture during the 1950’s . Amongst his notable works are included “Casa Ugalde”, the HQ od “Banco Urquijo” or the “Instituto Frances”. Member of the CIAM, jury member in the United Nations, elected member of the Royal Academy of fine arts in Barcelona, received amongst other prizes the gold medal in the IX “Trientale de Milan” (1951) , National prize for Industrial design in Argentina (1959) and many prizes FAD for architecture.
